I’ve loved racing games for a long time, but the first time I took the wheel in Drift Masters, I realized being fast doesn’t make you good. This game doesn’t care who crosses the finish line first. It rewards the player who can keep the car sliding sideways for as long as possible without hitting anything. The big plus is that you play directly on the web, with no download or installation.
It’s a 3D racing game with the camera following behind your car. You pick a track, hit the gas, take a corner, steer, and use the handbrake to start a slide. The longer and smoother the slide, the more coins you earn. Hitting a barrier breaks your drift chain, so driving recklessly doesn’t pay off.

| Map | How It Feels | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| City | Wide roads, bright lights, easy to read | Beginners learning to drift |
| Race Track | Many corners in a row, demands rhythm | Players who already have a feel for it |
| Snowy Track | Slippery surface, the car slides out easily | Players who want a challenge |
I recommend starting in the City. The wide roads let you make a few mistakes without heavy penalties, so you can learn how the car behaves before moving on to harder maps.
I used to enter corners too fast and the car would spin on the spot. Lifting off a little earlier makes the car much more obedient.
I usually press Space briefly to start the slide, then release it and use the throttle and steering to hold the angle. Holding the handbrake too long kills your momentum.
The F key is tempting, but firing nitro in the middle of a tight corner usually ends with a crash into the barrier. I only use it when exiting a corner or when the car is about to lose its slide.
Each view feels different. I find the rear view easier for judging distance to the barriers, while the closer view puts you right on the car but makes it harder to judge.
The snow makes the car react slower than you’d expect. Drive gently, and steer early and with small inputs.
No. The game runs directly in your browser, so you just open the page and play.
Three: Race Track, City, and Snowy Track.
Keep your drift chain long and smooth, and avoid collisions so the chain doesn’t break.
It starts a slide when entering a corner without losing too much speed.
The City, because the roads are wide and easy to get used to.
For me, the best thing about Drift Masters is how clearly you feel yourself improving. At first you’ll hit barriers constantly, and a few rounds later you’ll be holding a beautiful slide through a long corner. If you want a light racing game that runs right on the web but still has enough depth to train your skills, give Drift Masters a try.
